Bill Kiene opened Kiene's Fly Shop in 1984 which has become one of the largest fly fishing shops in California. With all of his knowledge and experience there is no wonder why Bill's store is among the best in customer service and product inventory. Bill has been in the fishing tackle industry since 1965 in Sacramento. Kiene's Fly Shop has one of the most diverse inventories stocking over 400 fly rods and almost as many fly reels. The store has a large fly selection, complete wading department, technical clothing, fishing vests/chest packs, tackle bags and a vast library of books and DVDs. Kiene's Fly Shop has been expanded to 4000 square feet and has the largest fly tying department in Northern California.
