Since 1917 Kennedy Meadows Resort has been the gateway to the Emigrant Wilderness. Located 60 miles East from Sonora, California, Kennedy Meadows Resort is nestled deep in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The general store of the Resort carries a good selection of fly fishing equipment. Wilderness trips offer some of the finest Rainbow, Brook and Brown trouts in the Sierras.
