Some of our salmon flies have gone to customers like Prince Charles, George Bush, and the mayor of New York and many others. Curtis Miramichi River Outfitters tackle shop is only a stone throw away from the Bartholomen and Miramichi rivers, which makes it a perfect place to offer fly fishing courses. If you have been thinking about giving fly fishing a try, these courses will definitely give you a jump start on a great sport. The courses are designed to help and improve both beginners and experienced fly fishers, with an emphases on Atlantic Salmon fishing. We will provide you with all the equipment that is needed for this course, but we suggest that you prepare yourself for various weather conditions. There will be Federal Fly Fishers (F.F.F) certified instructors on hand for these courses. At Curtis Miramichi River Outfitters we prefer smaller classes, a 4 to 1 student instructor ratio. This ratio ensures us that you will be getting the best experience in fly fishing that we have to offer you. We typically begin with ground school training, and then we move to the river for the rest of the day training. We serve customers from all over the world and carry a full line of fly fishing and paddling equipment to serve your needs. Our goal is to provide functional equipment to the beginner and to the professional, at reasonable prices.
